Computer Labs

MATLAB® is available in various Student Computer Labs on campus as well as through MyLab.

Computer Clusters

MATLAB is available for use on the TACC HPC cluster.

Office Computers

Employees may request MATLAB by contacting their college or departmental IT support group.

Personal Computers

Faculty, staff and students may gain access to MATLAB, MATLAB Online, MATLAB Academy, and Cody Coursework by visiting the MathWorks user portal and following these instructions.

  • You must log out of any existing MathWorks account you may already have. Associating with a personally created account will not work.
  • Visit the MathWorks portal.
  • Select "Get started today" and authenticate with your UNT EUID and password.
  • Create a MathWorks account — on your first visit only — using your UNT email address as the User ID and any password of your choice.
  • Log in to MathWorks with your ID and password to gain access to your newly provisioned MathWorks products and services.

Online Training Courses are Available to Everyone on Campus!

MATLAB Online and Simulink Online are web-based components that also is available to those who are provisioned with an Individual license.

  • Access MATLAB from a web browser. MATLAB mathworks webpage shown in an internet browser.
  • Log in to your MathWorks Account.
  • No downloads or installations required.
