UNT app. The UNT Go app is designed to make campus life easier and more connected
for all students at UNT. The app allows you to view your class schedule, view Canvas
grades, navigate with campus maps, stay up to date with campus events, and more.
Visit the UNT Go information page for more details.
Canvas Login Landing Page Update – Effective May 11th
As of Sunday, May 11th, Canvas has transitioned to a new authentication platform. As a result, the login landing page now appears slightly different, as a single sign on (SSO).
To access Canvas, please use a fresh browser window and navigate to canvas.unt.edu. This link will redirect you to the updated login page, as seen below. You will log
in as standard, with your EUID & UNT password.
We recommend updating any previously saved bookmarks that may still point to the old login page to ensure a smooth login experience.
(Ongoing) Delay in Password Sync with Microsoft Services On Weekends
The UNT system is currently experiencing a known issue where UNT password resets (at
ams.unt.edu) performed Friday evening-Saturday, may not immediately sync with Microsoft
services such as UNT Email, Office 365, OneDrive, and Teams. This does not impact logging into Canvas, MyUNT, or other non-Microsoft services/accounts.
This syncing error only occurs for some if they reset their password anywhere from
Friday night into Saturday morning, when password synchronization temporarily stops.
But the UNT password will sync by Sunday afternoon.
Administrators are working to pinpoint the issue and implement a permanent fix. In
the meantime, users who recently changed their password Friday-Saturday and are unable
to access Microsoft services are advised to wait until Sunday afternoon. If the issue
persists past Sunday, please contact the IT Help Desk for further assistance.
Beginning Feb 29, 2024, the UNT VPN access will require Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA) in addition to your UNT account password. For more info on Duo MFA, visit our Duo MFA FAQ Page. Note: The DUO Mobile App is the default MFA method for VPN. See DUO Append Mode for alternate MFA methods.
This is a security enhancement to guard against password compromises to prevent unauthorized access to UNT VPN and the resources protected the VPN service. This security enhancement will reduce the risk to your UNT account and our data
Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is here! Duo MFA helps protect your account
from unauthorized access. Click here for information on how to set up Duo MFA.
